"NO CHILD TURNED AWAY."

Children who have been victims of abuse feel hopeless and helpless. They are burdened with overwhelming feelings of fear, anger, and self-loathing that prevent them from trusting, growing, and feeling that they deserve to be loved. Through counseling and education the Center for Healing Childhood Trauma helps restore feelings of safety, stability, self-worth, and hope.

State and County funds have helped the Center for Healing to provide specialized help for victims for the last fourteen years, but due to the current budget crisis, mental health funds have been cut severely. Therefore, we need to turn to small businesses, local corporations, and individual citizens to come to the aid of wounded children who deserve help from professionals with specialized training in child abuse interventions.

At the Center for Healing/Family Resource Center we specialize in providing comprehensive, early intervention and prevention services to help children and families overcome the cycle of abuse and begin the healing process.
